About me
Hi, I am Jonas Grübler
Now i attend the higher technical college in Steyr / Austria. I was always interested in working with different metals and how you can optimize the structure of the metal. One time I came in contact with knife making and now it is a big passion of mine. I started very young. In my granddads workshop, I was hammering nails and grinding some pieces of metal down to "knifes". Now I can proudly say:
"Every work pays off",
and i really don´t want to miss the beautiful craft of knife making.
About me
I am currently a student at the HTL Steyr for Art and Design with a focus on blacksmith. The processing and composition of metals has always interested me and so it wasn't long until one day I came into contact with knives. Starting with wildly ground pieces of sheet metal, I slowly but steadily improved myself, because the following principle applies to the manufacture of knives:
"Practice creates masters".
In the meantime I have set up a great workshop and refine my craft. I always look forward to learning new techniques and exploring new materials because there are thousands of possibilities in the field of knives.
